The director of the institute, Mag. Dr. Friederike Blümelhuber is a chemist whose doctoral thesis was on forensics, and who is a sworn expert for forensics, profiling of perpetrators, internet offenses with many years of experience. She has been director of KTPI GmbH since 1995. Her publications of articles, presentations and participation in expert conferences ensure the international standard of the institute in the forensics field.
